Como defeated Manchester United 4-1 in the UEFA Champions League, with the result reported by both BBC Sport and Sky Sports. The match has been described in the reports as a difficult night for Manchester United.

BBC Sport reported that Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes criticised head coach Michael Carrick after the defeat, saying the team’s tactics had contributed to the outcome. Sky Sports also carried post-match coverage focused on the blame debate around Carrick and the players.

The reported scoreline and the post-match reaction made this one of the more notable results in United’s European campaign, with Como emerging as the side that produced the decisive margin.
