Leeds held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw in Leeds vs Manchester United, a result that extended United’s winless run to six matches, according to BBC Sport.

BBC Sport reported that Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s goal secured a point for Leeds and kept Manchester United without a victory in six games. The same report said Michael Carrick described the week as one in which he had kept his headphones on to avoid outside noise around the club.

On Sky Sports, pundit Gary Neville said the draw could be a “stepping stone” for Manchester United, but added that Carrick would have a problem if the team were still 13th in the Premier League by January.

ESPN FC also noted that Manchester United were already enduring their worst start to a Premier League season since 1986, and said the point at Leeds would not improve that situation.
